SSPX offers Missa Cantata in U.S. basilica shrine

The Society of Saint Pius X has offered traditional Latin Masses in some prominent places, including Saint Peter's Basilica and the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Lourdes.

Add to that list the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception in Washington, D.C.

Father Patrick Rutledge of the SSPX's new church in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, offered a Missa Cantata in the Lourdes chapel of the basilica shrine.  That chapel in the crypt of the basilica is the dedicated location for the TLM at the shrine.  A schola of three men provided Gregorian chant.
